Quality Over Quantity
Memes, pop-culture holidays, stock photos, corporate platitudes. The backbone of any good marketing strategy, right? Right!? Well, for better or worse, there seems to be an abundance of this stuff…
Content is king. That’s no secret. Influencing your audience requires content getting seen daily in all the digital spaces your audience likes to hang out. It’s tempting to think that more is better. That anything beats nothing. But the truth is…
Content can be compelling, educational, and beautifully designed, but if it’s not connecting your brand message with your target audience…you’ve already lost.
Not all content is marketing. The difference is its effectiveness in educating buyers and differentiating your brand in the early parts of the sales process when you can shape your audience’s way of thinking.
Influence doesn’t simply manifest. You have to earn it, and you do that by adhering to these three virtues:
Get clear on your brand’s story and consistently tell it one piece of content at a time, over time, and with purpose.
Empathize with your audience and connect with them by offering meaningful solutions on their preferred platforms.
Don’t rely on one great piece of content. Your audience might not even see it. Get remembered by being everywhere, all the time.
